Rs 30,000 per kW for the first 2 kW, and Rs 18,000 per kW for additional capacity up to 3 kW. For any system larger than 3 kW the total central subsidy is capped at Rs 78,000.

Why do you not publish a fixed solar panel price?

Because the honest price depends on system size, panel and inverter make, and the mounting structure your roof needs. A tin roof, an RCC roof and a high-wind location all cost differently. We give an exact written quotation after a free site survey.

What size solar system do I need?

Government guidance links size to monthly consumption: up to 150 units suits 1-2 kW, 150-300 units suits 2-3 kW, and above 300 units needs more than 3 kW. Your electricity bill is enough for us to size it accurately.

Can I pay for solar in EMI?

Yes. EMI and solar loan options are available, and the Aashi Green Energy website has a free EMI calculator you can use to estimate the monthly instalment before you decide.

When does the subsidy money come?

The central subsidy is credited directly into your bank account by the government after the system is installed, inspected and commissioned with net metering. It is not deducted from the vendor's bill.

Under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, central government subsidy for residential rooftop solar is:

Important: this money is paid directly into your bank account by the government after your system is installed, inspected and commissioned with net metering. It is not something the vendor "adjusts" in the bill. Be careful of anyone who tells you otherwise.

Group housing societies and RWAs have a separate rate (₹ 18,000 per kW for common facilities). Scheme rules are set by the Government of India and can change — the official portal is pmsuryaghar.gov.in, and we confirm the current position for your case before you commit.

Which size do you need?

Why we do not publish one fixed price

Any company that quotes a single fixed price without seeing your roof is guessing. The real cost changes with:

System size (kW) — the biggest factor by far.
Panel and inverter make — different brands, different warranties, different prices.
Mounting structure — a plain RCC roof is cheaper than a tin shed or a raised structure over a terrace you still want to use.
Cable run and wiring — how far the roof is from your meter.
Net metering and DISCOM charges — as applicable in your area.

We would rather do a free survey and give you one honest written number than quote a low figure on the phone and increase it later.

Is the subsidy available for commercial or farm connections?

PM Surya Ghar subsidy is for residential connections. Commercial and industrial systems follow different rules, and agricultural pumps come under separate schemes such as PM-KUSUM. Tell us your connection type and we will tell you what applies.
